Event: Memories + Archives: How I See Myself Now?
March 17, 2023Join me at the next Late at Tate curated by Black Blossoms for an evening down memory lane.
Black Blossoms has chosen to explore the theme of “Flourish,” aiming to celebrate the intersectionality of diasporic identities, and asked me to hold a workshop which I’m so delighted about. Come down for a chat while I look back at memories and get your portraits taken. Be the first to watch my short film, Jet Rewind <<<, which takes a look back into my life growing up and finding lost memories.
Recommended Exhibition View: Abdu’Allah’s series I Wanna Kill Sam Cause He Ain’t My Motherfuckin’ Uncle 1993, printed 2010.
